I started my career as a travel agent. From working very very hard to get the clients the best prices on air and cruises and giving them the best service I could, I opened my own agency 8 years later called Byrd House Travel & Cruises Inc. I had a very large clientel with 6 inside agents and 22 outside agents.

I enjoyed pleasing my clients and they were like family after 28 years of serving them. It was very sad when I made the choice, back in 1995, to sell. I decide to sell the agency after the airlines cut out all our commissions. I just couldnt bring myself to charge a service fee. I have great faith in God and with all the massive praying for guidance He lead me to Real Estate. I thought it would be hard being 50 years old, back then and changing careers. But with all the working hard and time I spent getting the best prices on travel, the transition was unbelievable easy. I did it for over 28 years. It was a natural thing for me, I haven't changed, I work the same... But, I get the best prices on homes.

I am very grateful to God and the clients he now sends me in Real Estate.
